Hi, my first time here. I bought the fried pickles, fish, and shrimp. The fried pickles are plumb and fresh, just a bit skimpy on the amount you get compared to other places I've bought. French fries are tasty and fresh. The fish is good size and appeared to be fresh, the shrimp as well, just that the shrimp appeared to be smashed into a butterfly that when biting into appeared to be skinny and over fried to a crisp. The seasoning is not so much as the coating is to bland for my taste. Had others fish to be more on a tastier side. The hushpuppies have jalapeños inside it, so it's not good for the kids. Lastly, the condiment tray appeared to be worn out and dirty and missing tops.
The restroom is decent, and I didn't have any more hand soap.
I will come again to see if any improvement has been made and will try a different dish.
The food is alright. The mussel boil bag was over cooked and over seasoned. Grilled oysters were salty AF, and a little pricey. The shrimp ceviche was pretty good. Prices were all over the place. Most of the seafood is expensive, yet calamari was only $4, and a guy at the bar had a huge guacamole order that was only $3.80. So, while lots of things are high, you can get by pretty cheap here too. Guessing most people come here to drink and hang out and maybe order an appetizer, for that this place seems like a good choice. It is a little hot though being that the place is open air at the bar. Most seating is also outside.
I wanted to like this place but honestly I don't think we will be back. The food was aggressively seasoned, overly salty, and overcooked. The music is so loud you have to yell over it, and it was pretty hot inside. Did like the grilled oysters the most, which is why we went in the first place. Not the worst, but not the best altogether. Sorry!
We came in during happy hour $3 beer and ordered a main course like the shrimp and crab boil, perfectly seasoned and served with a side of buttery potatoes and corn.
The service at Crab Pot Seafood is impeccable, with knowledgeable staff who are eager to guide you through the menu and offer wine pairings that complement your meal perfectly. Whether you prefer a crisp Margarita or a robust Michelada, the extensive alcohol menu ensures there's something for every palate. I would definitely recommend for any occasion.
Enjoyed dinner with a friend. The food, service and atmosphere was good. This is a fairly new restaurant. They also had a DJ set up. Happy Hour M-F 3-7 $2 off beer and cocktails. Give them a try👍
